About Us

Founder Mark McCormack, a successful sports agent, started IMG Models as a division of IMG Worldwide – an international talent management agency.

McCormack understood that models could be managed the same as athletes, actors, musicians and other entertainers. He also believed that a models talents could be used way beyond a runway or magazine cover. With this ambition and belief in the industry, IMG Models has grown year on year.

IMG Model agency has been celebrated for it diversity and inclusivity at every level. They have been known for their ability to maximise the career of their talent by being smart with their model branding.

IMG created the industry’s first bi-annual health initiative – Model Prep. This was to raise awareness for young models’ total wellbeing.
