World-renowned fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier has recruited some of the most striking models in the world to participate in his most recent endeavor: a new book titled Dior Couture. The 240-page book profiles the history of the Dior line from designs by Christian Dior himself in 1947, through the creations of Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan and, more recently, John Galliano.
Models Gisele Bundchen, Sasha Pivovarova, Monika ‘Jac’ Jagaciak, and Frida Gustavsson are some of the chosen few asked to pose in over one hundred Christian Dior Haute Couture gowns. Shooting in places from Times Square to Shanghai to the Paris Opera House, Demarchelier captures the timelessly glamorous aesthetic of Dior with grace and ease.
Due to release in December, we here at IMG are waiting with bated breath. There is no doubt in our minds that it will be exquisitely executed.
